Same-Day Crowns

You need a crown to restore strength to a weak, worn, or broken tooth, but you don't have time for two separate dental visits. Who does? Dr. Hong and Dr. Lam proudly offer CEREC crowns, designed, milled, and placed in a single visit.

Traditionally, crowns require two visits to the dentist. The first day is for measurements, impressions, preparation, and placement of a temporary crown. He sends your information to a dental lab, where your final restoration is designed. On a subsequent visit, the dentist removes the temporary crown and replaces it with a permanent one. Temporary crowns can crack or fall out between your first and second appointments, prompting yet another appointment.

In about one hour, our team can provide you with CEREC crowns. Made with materials researched for over 20 years, CEREC can provide strong, lasting restorations. We will take a 3D image of your tooth and then Dr. Hong or Dr. Lam will use the CEREC machine to mill a beautiful, durable crown in our office, while you wait. After your CEREC crown has been designed, we'll permanently place your restoration, and you'll leave our office with a happy, healthy smile.
